From rail power supply installations to contact line systems through to earthing concepts: All systems need to be compatible with each other. When it comes to drawing up concepts, planning and implementing power supply, SIGNON is your ideal partner.
Rail power supply
Whether direct or alternating current powered rail systems: Thanks to our extensive specialist knowledge and the appropriate tools – such as ELBAS SINANET® and ELBAS WEBANET – we can analyze and plan power supply systems worldwide.
SIGNON is your ideal partner for the optimization of rail power supply systems with a view to meeting power requirements and improving performance and availability, as well as for the development of a complete power supply concept. We draw up installation concepts, provide support in the planning and building of switching stations as well as for direct current and converter stations.
Overhead contact systems
Overhead contact lines exist in a variety of forms – depending on the country and rail company. SIGNON knows all the ins and outs, and possesses extensive know-how in this area. Earthing and the return circuit
Ensuring the highest level of personal and installation safety for the traction power return circuit is our top priority. Our highly qualified engineers are able to utilise their considerable specialist knowledge, for example in questions related to return circuits and earthing or electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), to ensure the smooth introduction of modern technology and systems for the supply of AC and DC powered rail systems.
Auxiliary electronic system
From lighting systems to point heating through to escalators and lifts: In the rail sector a range of different electrical installations and cabling systems need not only to function reliably, but also to be supplied, monitored and controlled. On top of this a whole range of cables need to be coordinated to ensure they do not influence each other and create malfunctioning.
SIGNON combines electrotechnical and rail-specific knowledge to ensure these installations are perfectly compatible.
